1. I work for you, not the banks.
I care, I’m always available, and I save you time and money by shopping around to find the best mortgage for you (rather than the one the bank manager says to promote). Then, after we’ve found your mortgage, I monitor it to make sure we’re maximizing every feature and saving you the most money possible.
2. I want to save you money.
Unlike the banks, who see you as a profit-centre, I MAKE SURE you’re in a mortgage that saves you money. In fact, your money-saving mortgage is good for both of us. Because when you know I always do right by you AND your money, you’ll choose to work with me again. My business depends on you saving money on your mortgage. (That’s why I call myself “your money-saving mortgage broker”).
3. I know you’re more than a number. I focus on you, not your credit rating.
There’s more to a mortgage than your credit rating. I’ll sit down with you and we’ll talk about everything: your goals, job history, investments, savings, assets, future plans, big dreams. And then we’ll make a plan to get you into a mortgage that helps you achieve these dreams and purchase the home you want.

That’s why I spend a lot of time with my clients teaching them about the home-buying and mortgage process. I spend even more time explaining EVERY detail of your mortgage (and how to save money on it!) to you.

5. I NEVER get you in over your head.
In my ten years as a mortgage-broker, I have NEVER had a client go into foreclosure because they bought too much house for their income.
This is because my aim isn’t to get you into the most house you can afford…if only you stretch and scrimp and never ever go out for dinner and your car never requires repairs. Because that’s not reality – and that’s not the life you want to live. I’m dedicated to making sure your mortgage payments work with your lifestyle. So that you can comfortably keep your life AND keep up with your payments.
6. I’m human.
FamilySmallI have a beautiful wife (hi honey!) and two very special daughters (and of course I say that without any bias whatsoever. It’s just an objective fact). I volunteered at the 2004 Summer Games in Greece and the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver and every year I organize Christmas hampers for two local families. In 2006 – just a few years into my career – I was nominated for “Broker of the Year” by my peers, which was a big honour. All of this means I’m just like you: I adore my family, I care about my community, and I’m committed to doing a great job for my clients.
